We employ three part-time Practice Nurses and one Healthcare Assistant.
Our practice nurses are available by appointment for advice about any health matters,
immunisations, family planning, dressings and ear syringing. They carry out blood
pressure checks, ECGs, cervical smears, health checks for the elderly and newly
registered patients. They also hold clinics for patients with chronic diseases, e.g., asthma, diabetes or high blood pressure.
Please note that blood tests ordered by your doctor are carried out by our
Healthcare Assistant (who is a trained phlebotomist) in a separate clinic, and by Practice Nurses, so please specify your
requirement when booking an appointment.
